MessageLiving life to its fullest, as Nick did, is something we all should strive for.

MessageNick was a great guy, very hardworking and yet always easy to get along with. I have known Nick for over eight years and I know him as a family man, a man with integrity and someone you can always count on.

MessageI first met Nick on opening day at Del Mar in July of 2009. We struck up an easy conversation about our experiences in biotechnology and life in general. Our path crossed again when I joined Ambit in 2010. Nick and I became friends over the coming months and worked closely together. I really came to appreciate is style, knowledge and approach. But what most struck me was his honesty, integrity and commitment to his family and friends.

Nick was one of the good guys and I will miss him.

Alan

MessageI was fortunate to work with Nick when he was the audit manager on our account.

He had a great work ethic, and really took the time to understand the facts behind various situations.

In addition, during the time we worked together, he made a real effort to not only get to know you on the business side, but was genuinely interested in knowing you as a person. He frequently shared stories of his family, and you knew that his family was an important part of his life and a source of happiness in his life.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to know him, however so brief. He will be missed on many fronts.

MessageThe passing of your husband and father leaves a giant void in the lives he touched so dearly. I hope your memories will bring you comfort. You are in my thoughts.

MessageI worked with Nick at Nanogen for 2.5 years where, in addition to being colleagues, we became friends. He was a level-headed professional with strong ethical values. Our friendship continued after we left Nanogen, we met frequently to keep up with what each of us was doing. He was always eager to help or even just lend an ear to listen. Nick was one of the most unselfish people I have ever met.

It became apparent early in our friendship that he was a true family man who valued time with his wife and family above all. He enjoyed life to its fullest and had many things yet to accomplish. I am truly saddened by this tragic loss of a friend and a great human being.

Deb - Our hearts and prayers go out to you and the children, as well as your extended family. If there is anything we can do whatsoever, please let me know.

Nick – You will never be forgotten.
