MessageI worked with Nick at Ernst & Young in the late 90’s and always remember him to be, friendly, respectful and a stand-up guy. I saw nick a few years ago at a FAS 109 workshop and then again a few months ago. Last time I talked to him I told him that he was staying in great shape! I would have guessed it was from all that cycling but he said “no it was from chasing his kids around.” My thoughts and prayers are with the Venuto family and especially for his children.

MessageI was fortunate enough to work for Nick at Nanogen. He was a great boss, colleague and friend.

He was a true family man. No matter how busy or stressful things got at work, we would always find time to talk about our families every day.

Deb - My heart and deepest sympathies go out to you and the kids.

MessageGrowing up, Nick was my brother David's best friend. He was at our house a lot and was like a second brother. He even went with our family to Hawaii on vacation. Nick was a devoted friend to my brother. As an adult the thing I remember most about Nick from the last time I saw him is what a great listener he was. He always gave you his full attention and made you feel like what you were talking about was important. He was that way with my husband, myself and my kids. Also, he had such a great smile and you could tell he loved life. I loved seeing Nick as a husband and father. He was so devoted and so loving to Deb and the kids. You could tell by the way he looked at them, they were his everything. Nick was simply an amazing person who will be greatly missed by so so many. I count myself a very fortunate person to have known him.

MessageMy sincere condolence to the Venuto family.
I interfaced with Nick when he was VP of Finance at Graviton and CFO at Nanogen. He was one of the brightest
young financial persons that I have had the pleasure of working with. He was a friend and colleague.

MessageNick and I joined Ernst & Young at the same time in the mid 1990s and are fellow USD alums. He is one of the nicest people you could ever meet...friendly to all, intelligent but soft spoken. When he moved on to work with several EY clients we often ran into eachother at events and such and we always ended up catching up on what our kids were up to and how fast they were growing up. We will all miss him dearly and I know I speak for the entire extended EY family...our thoughts and prayers are with his family...

MessageI went to school with Nick at Atascadero HS. He was one of the nicest guys on campus. He didn't always say much but he would always smile at you and his smile would make your day. His best friend David and my friend Lea dated for a while so Nick & I got to hang out & even went to Disneyland together. He was a great friend!

I am so sorry to the Venuto family for their loss & I am praying for you during this difficult time.
