Nick, Judi, Nicky, Rochelle and Tony were wonderful friends and neighbors to my parents in Atascadero for many years. Nick and Judi adopted my parents as their own and have continued this loving relationship all these years. We love all of you. |

| Message | Nick, Judy, Deb and family, When David called me to inform me of Nick's passing I was just simply devastated. As you know I always loved the relationship he and David had and loved Nick like a son. We spent many good times together and I will always hold him close to my heart and miss him. I can only imagine how you all must be feeling during this difficult time. Your family was one we all looked to and tried to model. Both David and Debi will be attending the service. I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend but please know you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. |

| Message | As I read through the memories and thoughts about Nick, it is clear I missed out on meeting an amazing man, husband and father! Deb and I are old friends from school but I never had the pleasure of meeting her wonderful husband. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Nick's family. |

| Message | Deb, I am filled with great sympathy to be writing this but also with the great honor as Nick was an amazing coworker, friend, husband and father. I met Nick when we were working at E&Y. We connected on many levels when we first met and when we found out we lived in the same condo complex the friendship grew even deeper. Over the years my work life drew us apart and we ended up going over a decade without connecting up. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to reconnect with Nick over the last 2 years. In our first get together in over a decade it was refreshing to see the same old Nick, albiet a much fitter Nick! I assumed after such a long time apart that our conversation would be largely about what we had been doing professionally for the past decade but instead our talks were entirely centered around cycling and our families. His two passions were very clear and it was refreshing to not only learn more about them but to feel that passion. We spent much of our time sharing pictures and stories of our families. Nick will be truly missed. I have been contacted by so many people about his passing, many of whom I haven't spoken to in some time. It just goes to show how many people Nick touched during his time on this earth. We have lost a great man, friend, father and husband. Nick, you may be gone but you will never be forgotten and we are all better people as a result of knowing you! |

| Message | Nick was truly a classy individual and genuine person. I only knew Nick for a couple of years as Marisa and Kevin went through preschool together, but every gathering that Nick and Deb hosted at their house always felt like something special. Nick was kind and gentle and had a way of making you feel at home no matter who you were. I really appreciated the genuine interest he took when chatting with him. Nick, you will be missed here on earth. Heaven has truly gained an angel. God bless you and your family now and for always. |

| Message | Deb, Nicholas and Marisa - I met Nick in 1997 when I started at E&Y. During Nick's and my overlapping times at E&Y, I really enjoyed working with/for him. Nick was patient, a great teacher and great overall person. I was sad to see him leave, but knew our paths would cross again and that he was moving on to bigger and better things. As expected our paths did continue to cross from time to time throughout the San Diego business community. In 2010, Nick hired me to assist on an IPO. During the months that followed, I gained a renewed appreciation for who Nick was as a person, mentor amd colleague. He was a family man first and foremost, next a friend. I am honored to have had the opportunity to catch up with Nick very recently to hear of your travels (to Texas) since he moved on to Sapphire and your local camping trips. He as extremely happy to recount those times, the pride and pleasure were written all over his face. I will never look at "Dove" dark chocolate again without thinking of Nick. Nick, I will truly miss my friend. |

| Message | Deb, I did not know about Nick until this afternoon (Monday the 6th) when I looked at my weekly Linked In updates. To say I was shocked is an understatement, as you always think your younger friends are going to live forever. Deb, I want you to know that I really liked Nick right from the beginning when I met him at Graviton. We had good times together and I always thought he was a great guy, extremely smart, and destined to go far. I am so sorry for the pain you and the kids are feeling. Living in Monterey, I won't be able to make it down there in time - though I wish I could. You have my heartfelt condolences. Rudy Fischer |
