| Message | I was born at K.I Sawyer AFB and spent most of my childhood there until my dad became a recruiter and we had to move to WI. I miss the sounds of the planes flying over every day. Even thou it closed it will forever be my home and I'm proud to have lived there. |

| Message | Just found this website. I was stationed at KI from 82-87. I worked in the Comptroller Organization, umpired and played softball. I also spent a lot of time in the bowling alley. Tons of memories and always a great time. I hope there is a reunion soon, would love to come back home. Names I remember, Jack Hermann, Dave Derouin, Ron Gutshall. |

| Message | was stationed at KI from jul 80-84 crew chief 410oms then moved to Loring 42 oms people i remember tommy lue, Sally schcloth chief Joshson mell jones (jonsy) walt waldel mike of course my best friend Ted Dezeil Jim branter jimmy Quinn. I was a team member of the group how caught the D model when it landed at KI tsgt Jones was in charge of the post flt and i remember going through the cabin trying to remove all the gear starting the proses of making it a monument. also when we were in guam ie busy island we got the plans for the pylons that the Buff sits on the plans were from the Arc lite Monument Pylons.  |

| Message | i was stationed at k i sawyer from 1967 thru 1969, assigned to the security police law enforcement section as an administrative clerk. i worked with capt michael wheeler, sgts duguay, merrill, in the investigation section was sgts stokes, pearson, asel and condray, in the corrections section was sgt pulliam. worked with a bunch of great people in the law enforcement section. would like to get back for a visit. read something about a reunion, any info please email me. capt peter watts was squadron commander and there was also a capt sadler assigned to the squadron. |
