| Message | I was born on KI Sawyer AFB in 1965. My dad was a Crew Chief on Tankers and BUFFs. I was able to visit KI Sawyer in 1988. I found out about the Air Museum through Facebook. Thank you. Dan |

| Message | My father was station at KI, from approx. 1963 to 1969. When we left I was in the 12th grade, so I spent most of my teenage years there. June of this year, I am planning a trip to that area. I am looking forward to it. |

| Message | Eva Hicks (Morton) I was a member of 410 FMS. I was stationed and worked in the AGE Shop from 1981-1984. I had such a wonderful time at K. I. Sawyer. What an adventure, a great place to be, so many great people to be with, and to work with. I learned so much and had so many Fun Times!! Winters were a surprise, I had never seen snow piled so high before in my life. It would be so cold and we would be out there in the snow and cold running equipment (heaters,generators, light carts) and doing equipment PE's. Nothing quite like the Michigan U.P. So many wonderful memories! I loved it! |
