MessageArrived there Feb 73 (from VietNam) and worked in Personnel. SMSgt Bath was my supervisor and was an excellent leader. Worked with TSgt Reagan and cannot recall any other names as I left in September to go into Recruiting Service. Remember well the SAGE building and the large snowfall in Feb and March. Not my favorite assignment but met many nice folks who made my brief time there pleasant. I think of the NCO Club whenever Crocodile Rock (by Elton John) pops up on "oldies" radio.

MessageStationed at K.I. Sawyer from March 1973 to October 1974, as Firefighter with the 410 CES. I loved my time I spent at K.I.. I only lived 436 miles south in lower Michigan, and drove home a lot in two years that I was there.
God Bless K.I.Sawyer.

MessageMy father was station at KI, from approx. 1963 to 1969. When we left I was in the 12th grade, so I spent most of my teenage years there. June of this year, I am planning a trip to that area. I am looking forward to it.
