MessageI remember you Joe McCool! lol I lived on Destroyer when my dad was stationed on Sawyer. You were a friend of my bro. and this past summer your name was mentioned when he and I were talking about our childhood. There was another kid named Joe that lived on Lancer that I got some birds from but can't remember his last name. I ended up staying in this area and worked on the base myself at Snow Control/Roads and Grounds for several years.

MessageAlthough I was but a child when my father, Senior Master SGT Bill Beaubien, was stationed at KI Sawyer (1964-1967), I feel like I definitely served there. Great memories of the base, of Goose Lake, Marquette, Gwinn and even New Swanzy and Escanaba. Experiencing those UP winters prepared me to handle just about any type of weather! smilie
