| Message | Deb, I came to Nicks service today as a cyclists wife. How many times we say have a good ride, see you soon or enjoy your day! We worry a bit but know that his "girlfriend" as I call his bike makes them very happy. I am encouraged by your words today I did not know Nick but he was a great guy since he picked you for his wife and mother of his children. | Message | Deb and I worked together at Mazzarella, Dunwoody, Wilson & Petty in the 90's. We were married the same year (1995) and were pregnant at the same time with our sons, Nicholas and Jack. Being new parents, it was a special time in our lives, and I have countless memories of sharing that time with Deb and Nick --- play dates, birthday parties, barbecues, etc. Nick was a devoted and loving father, and a generous and caring husband. It was an honor to have known him. Deb, Nicholas and Marissa -- my heart is aching for your loss. I take comfort in knowing that you are surrounded by family and friends who love you and who will watch over you. |

| Message | I attended Nick's service today and wanted to say that it was an awesome service. The crowd of people is a testimony to the number of lives that Nick touched. I was so proud of all the family members for being so strong. I want to say I am proud of Deb for getting up and letting us all know a little more about their life together, what an inspiration. I discovered today that my daughter Hannah was born on the same date as Nicholas: Nov 15, 1998. Everytime I celebrate my daughters birthday, I will be reminded of Nick and will be praying for all three of you. I pray that your hope is in the eternity of heaven that was talked about today. | Message | I started riding with Nick a few summers ago and spend the first few hours most every Sunday morning since then enjoying his friendship. Whether we were training for something in particular or just in need of some exercise and great company, those rides were extremely special for me. Nick I will miss you greatly! | Message | Rode with several cyclists who knew Nick here in Atascadero. Mr. DeMundo and I honored his memory today wearing our jerseys and riding our butts off. A wheely fine member of our special community has been lost, and we will miss him. He live on in our hearts. |

As we could not attend the services today, we held a memorial ride in silence on the Veloway. There was 10 of us and we rode one lap. | Message | My heart goes out to you and all those who love Nick. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing him personally, but as an avid cyclist, I consider him family just the same.
