MessageHello,

I love your website and was happy to see photos of Breens Carriage works on it. Do you know what happened to the place at all? I've been trying to find some of the people featured on the RTE documentary 'Hands: Irish Traditional Crafts', and am having little success [although Tuttys shoemakers are still going in Naas].

Will you be able to put photos of the interior at all?

Regards

Micheál

MessageFound your website researching a trip to Ireland. The photos truly spoke to my heart and will make my trip so much better. I will be purchasing your book. Perhaps in the future you might add information as to which of these remarkable sites can be visited or at least seen from a road. Would be most helpful to those of us that long to explore further. Thank you again for your work.

MessageFound the site last year or so and got my wife your book, a lovely production by the way! I love castles and to a lesser extent great houses, I wonder could people be brought together to purchase and renovate them, my idea was that extended families be approached, for examples Carrolls around the globe sponsor the restoration of the Carroll strongholds, the O'Connors the O'Connor ones etc, they then are held in trust and let to sponsors at a reduced rate. The Irish landmark trust do great work but w need something bigger - the Parador's in Spain come to mind! The potential for jobs in these renovations is huge as it the potetnuial tourist drawing power...
