the Batt boxing team beat 2 Para 5-4 in the Army Finals with it all riding on the last bout (heavyweight)which we won on a majority decision! We were 3-1 down at the interval and then won 4 out of the last 5 fights. Both sets of boxers went for it in all the contests, as you can imagine!
The gym was packed - great atmosphere and a credit to the Para Regt soldiers from both battalions.
It turned out to be on the TV, so I don't know if any of you watched but if you did you will know what I mean?

MessageFor those going to the boxing finals on 07 May.
I have sent in the list to the RSM, who assures me that everything is OK for the numbers.
However, the Bn has been away on exercise and I have not received the tickets, as yet!
I am away from home myself until next Sunday but will contact the RSM and arrange for the guardroom to hold a list of your names and then we can all meet at the WOs & Sgts Mess and sort it!
Keep an eye on this website - just in case!!
