| Message | I attended the funeral of Jimmy Leach today and was asked by his wife Vera and her family to pass on their thanks for the flowers and tribute paid to Jimmy. She said he would have been proud and honoured at the respect shown to him. All his children and grandchildren wore maroon ties and scarf's in his memory. Also thanks go to Ray Riley (ex 3 Para) who paraded with the Teesside Branch PRA Standard. A good send off for a good man. |

| Message | I speak for the whole regiment of paratroopers in wishing platoon commander Sammy Adams a swift recovery from his second battle with cancer. A braver and more dedicated soldier I have yet to be blessed to know. All our love respect and admiration go unreservedly to a truly man of integrity and valour. May his future be one of joy and good health. Untrinqe paratus |
