| Message | sad news to hear of the passing of Johnie Holborn. John was in 142 pl in 1958,and was posted to 3para in the same draft as myself.he went through the ranks to csm in the batalion.he was a regular member of the bn shooting team,in 1978 he was an rsm,i,m not sure who with .there is a photo of him in a group of rsm,s in Tom Godwins post in www.paradata.org.uk.for those of you who have never visited this site,you could spend a lot of time there.RIP John my condolences to the family doug rodgers |

| Message | Hi just a quick update on Dennis Warden .I have been in contact with him for the last three days.. was confirmed today it was not a stroke he will be leaving hospital tomorrow and staying with his sister for a week or two..still not fully recovered but this is due to nerves trapped when he fell over and problems he already had. I have told dennis members are wishing him a speedy recovery.. thanks to the committee for a great weekend. |
