| Message | Hi John Everything was more or less set up with me to exit the Saudi sandpit back 2 Spain , around about 2nd 3rd march, but that all went to shit contracts folding up etc etc.I will make it to the reunion,but I have not booked a ticket,to get in?i have booked accommodation ,as you know,can you book me a seat,,...you can trust me its only been 30 years!? and what's £10 / 20 between friends...? ..As long as u see me again...PK.  |

| Message | Hello again Terry, I have had the opportunity to speak to a few 2 PARA guys during the last few days, they were very impressed with the Imperial Hotel in Blackpool. Their committee had done some negotiating on the price of drinks for the weekend + the the car parking charges were waived for the duration. Well worth consideration. Regards to all..... JJ |

| Message | To Mick B, JJ et all. I posted a message earlier but it does not seem to have appeared! The committee will be discussing a venue for next year at our meeting in Colchester. We have already thought about a change. I will look into the Imperial beforehand and see what they have to offer. It will, of course, come up at the AGM. Regards TC |

| Message | Hello Terry, I had suggested doing a recce on the Norbreck Hotel. I was talking to a 2 PARA guy last night who attended their reunion in the Imperial Hotel, he said it was a lot better than the Metropole ! It seems the car parking was much better & they preferred the dinner night layout which was tables of 10/12 with a top table. I will be seeing more ex 2 PARA guys on Saturday I will see what they think & report back. Regards to all, see you in Colchester..... JJ |
