| Message | I am trying to find information regarding my grandfather. His name was Manuel DeSoto and he was from California. After Pearl Harbor was attacked he enlisted in the United States Navy, even though he was in his 30's and was married with children. He served on the Spangler and I'm assuming it was in the early 1940's during the war. If anyone knew of him or knows where I might find more information I would really appreciate it. I want to send out a special Thank You to all that have served our great country! |
