Message | I only spent a little more than a year at KI Jul 76- Nov 77, but I will always remember it well. I was with the 410 MMS before I was off to Little Rock AFB and flying on C-130's. Thanks for the memories. |

Message | Greetings from da U.P. ey! Things around here are starting to get exciting. Everyday we see the jet, she gets better and better looking. The painter has been contacted and he is ready to inspect the jet and get started. The decals are arriving any day. She looked great this week as we pulled her outside. If you have not made your plans to attend the dedication, do it now. This will be a great day for 87th FIS and for any one who has ever flown, supported or maintained the F-106's. We have moved the dedication inside to be sure the weather will not interupt us. One favor, if you read this and you are going to attend the dedication, please drop me a short email with who you are, when you were in the 87th and what you did. This will be great information to have at the dedication. Please bring a couple of extra bucks with you too. We are going to complete the restoration but it sure would be nice to put some money back to help take care of the jet later on down the road. Us "old farts" up here climbin around this old girl would sure like to see as many as you other old farts as we can. Don't miss out! Come see what we've done with this magnificant "Delta Dart." Message | Some of the funnest years of my life were spent there @ Sawyer. I worked for MSgt John Dupler & TSgt Lonnie Leach. Its nice to see that someone has taken the time to honor us who served there. |
