| Message | There are many reasons Pappy, many many reasons. Let's just say that almost every single experience I've had with Christianity has been negative, VERY negative. Aside from that there are so many different religions of the world, how can we say Christianity is the right one, the only one? There is nothing conclusive to me about it or maybe tangeable. I'm also a science major and I believe dinosaurs existed and I believe that we evolved from apes. Can you really believe in both? |

| Message | Ya know - I was going to jump into this discussion, but it's kinda long now? lol. I'll add a couple points I thought of while reading though, but I'm not going to go back and rehash everything that's been discussed (unless you guys want my opinion on something specific - just let me know if that is the case)... 1. I think everyone should be taxed the same percentage. Obviously there are going to be loopholes and tax cuts for some people, and I think there ARE too many loopholes in some cases, but I don't know enough about the details of that to make an educated comment. I enjoy our child tax cuts, for sure - because of them, though, a single person with no children can actually make quite a bit MORE than us, yet bring home the same amount of money. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I do know that the entire IRS/tax/etcetera needs to be REevaluated, and possibly we should just scratch our WHOLE system and start from scratch!!! I'm pretty sure no candidate is promising that though. 2. In my case, my religious and moral beliefs play a very large part in how I feel about politics. I don't see how they couldn't. | Message | Pappy, I don't believe that. I believe just as McCain he has to sell himself in the most attractive way possible, but his views still remain the same. They are still way more inclusive than McCain and much more intelligent if you ask me, which I'm just Gina from Virginia  |

Maybe that is more true of me.....I do not know what is true so therefore I remain open. Petra being the wonderful person she is paints a beautiful picture of your religion and although I share many of your values, I do not share your or her belief in God. |

| Message | I didn't answer your question about tax loops.....I don't know the answer. I hope so and I'm putting faith in him that he's going to be a GREAT President. He might not fix everything, but my hope is he will fix a lot of things and bring this country together. And no, I have no fear of him taking the world down the socialist road into communism. I hope I do not eat my words on that, but I don't even understand how people come to that conclusion, really I don't. |
