Even though I am a black woman from Minnesota the things that you went through happen here as well but instead it's not as blatant. I applaud you&your daughters for not giving up and letting them run you out of town until y'all was ready. I pray for the Most High to continue to watch over y'all. Peace&God Bless!! I look forward to reading your book and getting all of the details of what occurred in Hearne, TX. | Message | Being a life long resident of Brazos County, I am all too familiar of the type of justice doled out in thid paart of Texas. And I am all too familiar with the likes of John Paschall and the waay they do business, and continue to do to this day. I am glad to hear that you were able to overcome your strife, and one can only hope that they eventually wise up and get Paschall and others like him out of office. As I am sure you know, neighboring Brazos County has the same issues, and they same type of long running DA Bill Turner. 26 years he has done the very thing that happened to you over on the hill. Can only hope eventually things will change, but it just seems to take forever. Loved the Movie and look forward to reading your book when it becomes available.
