MessageRegina,
I just wanted to let you know how much I admire the determination and courage it took for you to stand up to the corrupt system in your town. It is extremely shocking to me that the DA is still in office, and that your story didn't do more to help protect others from this man.

Keep the faith and stay strong. I hope your children realize what a wonderful mother and shining example they have guiding them in this life! Always fight for what is right!

Take care and Blessing to all of your family and friends. smilie

MessageRegina,

I just finished watching the story about your life. I really admire your courage and conviction. Your story should be heard across the world. Racism is such a hurtful and harmful quality and no one deserves to become sujects of its ugly effects. I am a firm believer that soon things such racism and injustice will be eradicated forever. But as your experience has shown, there's only so much we can do as humans...Jermiah 10:23. It has to be dealt with from a power greater than our own. It requires divine intervention as revealed through the pages of the scriptures....Psalms 27:10, 11. Don't forsake the Bible's admonition to be "conscious of your spiritutal need" because this is what truly contributes to our happiness dispite Satan's world around us....Matthew 5:3. Take Care.

MessageI stumbled upon your site by God's grace. I am never amazed that I meet others that have gone through similar instances as myself. I appreciate that you are sharing your story with others. I hope we are able to meet some day to share on the same stage with other young women who have children that they can still hold it together and raise the family we were given to nurture and protect. I just spoke today and said someone made up the quote that God is good all the time but He didnt say every day would feel good, or that we'd look and smell good every day. There will be days we're going to have to tell somebody that we had to take some biased undeserved punches and be bullied and called incompetent and that's just by those who call themselves the authority, for starters. But look what God called you to do so that you could tell others to watch for the signs of danger and keep themselves clear of the opposition that lies ahead. Keep your head up Regina. Praying for you and your four children and you pray constantly for this world. God is soon to come. We have a lot of work to do. Be well.

MessageMy neice told me about your movie, and I got a chance to see it before she returned it to blockbuster. I was moved to tears. i am glad you hung in there. My son and I are going through the same thing in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. I was falsely arrested, and later convicted for stop payment on an over paid check to a bad contractor that wasn't license to work in Louisiana. The D A didn't bother to investigate, and took the word of this bad contractor. I was arrested and jailed, and later maliciously prosecuted, convicted, and jailed again, retaliation because I wrote the DA up for falsely arresting me, and the Judge for covering up for him. This was grant money given to me by FEMA(Hurricane Katrina)to repair my home. I had no prior criminal record not a traffic ticket. I am 55 years old. I had no idea how rapant and blantant officers of the courts abuse their power, and nothing is done a bout it. I can't vote, own a weapon, license, get a job, etc., I am on appeal. The U S Constiution is being ignored. Our prisons are full because of injustices like these. The U S has the higest incarceration rate of all. I refused to take a plea bargin. I am not a theif. I had a paid lawyer who withheld evidence 'cause he was afraid. This wasn't a criminal matter, but a civil dispute. The Federal Government needs to regulate and stop giving federal tax dollars to State law atthorities to inflict injustices on the poor. We are still in court. Louisana is a bad place for justice. smilie
