MessageI stumbled across your site earlier this afternoon and can't get enough of it! Beautiful, haunting, evocative photos, and I love the panoramic views. This is destined to be one of my all-time favorite websites.
All the best from NW California,
David

MessageHow I enjoyed looking around all of Abandoned Ireland photos but particularly Kilmorony House. My grandma was from Kilmorony and I am researching her roots at present for a book I am writing. It seems she had connections with a place called 'Moorefield House', but I can find no reference to it - or her at present!Born and bred in England, my Irish persona has always been trapped within, trying to get out! One day soon! Regards Wendy.

Messagewonderful to have the documentation of the inside of the house which had been a beautiful Georgian mansion of a place. Henry, who occupied it had a brother John b. 1660 who was my 5th great grandfather and he occupied Keale house. Also would like to view your prints as well. i will be in Millstreet on 31 July but too early for your book. Perhaps you could tell me what you concentrated on. smilie

MessageI love your site and I'm excited that you have a book in the works. I'll be in Dublin in October of this year for my cousin's wedding and hope to be able to pick it up then. Do you ever sell any prints of photographs? I'd love to purchase a couple if you do. My parents came to the USA in 1960/61 and I have been to Ireland to visit and I've always been so interested in all the old buildings/churches/castles. My dad spent his childhood in a house called Roebuck and my mom grew up on Buckingham Street just off O'Connell Street. Please let me know if you have any prints for purchase.

Thanks!

Terri

Hi Terri, Book is scheduled to hit the shelves in Ireland October/November though this is now in the hands of my publisher. Book will also be available in the US. I also have a major exhibition for the month of November, more details later. Print sales - no problem I have sent you an email about this.

MessageI would like to thank you for this lovely site and for your phenomenal pictures. I was particularly interested in county Sligo as that is where it is believed some of my ancestors came from to Canada and to see it mentioned was fascinating. I was wondering if you knew of any way that one could find out the names of tenants or guide me in any direction at all for help.
If you know of any references please email me. Thank you
