MessageHey

Love the website, was very facsinated by old buildings when I was small, always loved their mystery. Love the old hospitals and convents in particular, St Kevins and Wexford workhouse for example unbelievable atmosphere in them because of their past, each ruin tells a story. Very good work would love to visit them myself maybe not loftus house though or the spirit house in Wicklow, eerie stuff.

Thanks a mill spent ages on the site keep up the good work

Cheers

MessageExcellent website. It's such a pity that we have no equivalent to the "National Trust", of England, to restore and mantain these wonderful properties.

MessageHi. Love the website and will go in search of some of the places (currently living in galway). Not sure if this is of any interest but in Laois (where i'm from) there is Brittas castle in Clonaslee and i believe that someone is currently trying to work in and around it-not sure if its worth checking out?
Thanks for great pics and info on website!

T.B > Brittas castle, built by Major-General Francis Plunkett Dunne was destroyed by fire in 1942. The one small tower left standing is incorporated into a modern home, the owners of which are very private.
