MessageI found the photo set of Breen Carriages in Wexford particularly interesting. Breen Carriages was featured in the RTE series "Hands". Great collection of photographs, I spent hours browsing the site. smilie

MessageHi,love this site ,i have spent hours looking through all the places and have found it fasinating.i came to live here but didnt work out,but went to visit the convent in killershandra with a friend and we thought it was brilliant smilie wish i could have got through a few of the other places, but unfortunatly didnt have the time.i will however come back one day and see some more,but thankyou for giving me, and others chance to at least look at the pictures and read the history of the buildings in this beautiful country.

Messagehii stumbled across this site just now and i love it.i live in cork. i grew up in little island co. cork, where there was beautiful manor houses which were sold for industrial development in the early 1970's. it was terrible to see these beautiful houses destroyed.

Messagehi tarquin,just to say great site and to comment on your visit to seafield house (OR LISHEEN) there was ghosthunters there a while back from GHI or ghosthunters international led by a guy called barry fitzgerrald,you might want to check that out as its very interesting stuff! not unlike what you describe in your notes,regards

Messagethis website is fantastic! i have always been fasinated with old buildings... especially the abandoned ones. my sister sent me the link to this and i spent a whole day looking through all of the different ones you have, and hopefully you have a lot more to uncover smilie !
