| Message | hey Darren, i previously wrote that i was a big fan and i began watching your movies when i was 12. your first film i saw was Pi and it was amazing. but what really drew me into you and your work was requiem for a dream. there are way too many things i want to say about it but i only have 1207 characters left. i watched The Wrestler and i dont know how it wasnt nominated for the oscars. i dont know why slumdog millionaire is getting so much hype. i watched it and its is good, but not as great as The Wrestler. Anyways im 15 now and i wanted to start a project of my own. i understand that your budget for Pi was 60,000. i just wanted to know wat kind of camera you used while filming it. |

| Message | Hello Mister Aronofsky, It is wonderful to see that the high holiday Jewish director has taken the world by storm with The Wrestler. I look forward to the day when it is available on DVD so that it can be added to the collection of the Vilnius Jewish Library here in Lithuania. Respectfully, Wyman Brent |

| Message | Mr. Aronofsky, I am a desinger for Exotic Dancers in CA. I am in the proccess of a project of designing something for Mr. Rourke. I would like to be able to get it to him when its done. I dont want to disclose what it is on this guestbook, I want it to be a surprise. Could you please provide me with the means of how I could get it to him when I am done. If you contact me via email I would love to call you, and tell you what my project is, and maybe get some input. Thanks for your attention. Respectfully, Darlene |

| Message | Hi Darren, Congratulations on 'The Wrestler'. A beautiful heart breaking/warming movie. Fascinating that (with the exception of the store boss) every character is kind and positive, it is just life that is cold and challenging. BTW, should you need music for your next masterpiece, check out my portfolio on my site www(dot)brianledwidgeflynn(dot)com Good luck and thanks, Brian |

| Message | Dear Darren, I've been a fan of your films for years and wanted to say congratulations on The Wrestler. It was a first-class film and you did a wonderful job of conveying the real drama inherent in the world of pro wrestling. I also wrote an article on pro wrestling as a form of fantasy storytelling for Clarkesworld magazine that you might get a kick out of: "Steel Chair Through the Looking Glass: The Fractured Fantasy World of Professional Wrestling." Google it if you get the chance. Looking forward to your next film but hope you are enjoying the mad kudos following in the wake of The Wrestler. Well played, sir. Huzzah, Jason S. Ridler, Ph.D. |

| Message | Darren! Last we saw each other you were sitting next to me in Mr. Levitsky's English class. Where does time go since Manhattan Beach/Murrow days. I love your work and follow it closely. I'm living in Hell's Kitchen in NY...producing wacky cool events around the globe. Would love to hear back from you. All the best old Brooklyn friend. Pam |

| Message | Darren, "The Wrestler" is the greatest thing I have ever seen. I am now going to learn backside-crail-slides, properly. If my 32 year old body gets a little banged up; screw it. RAM JAM! Mickey Rourke is the best actor in the world. Thank you for The Wrestler, Darren. Ivan |
