| Message | Saw THE WRESTLER tonight at my local SHOWPLACE 16 (Rockford, IL) and wanted to mention that during the hardcore wrestling scene a woman passed out and an ambulance had to be sent to attend to her. The show was stopped and then restarted and free passes were handed out for the "inconvenience." This incident shows the the realism of what you made. And Mickey Rourke is utterly amazing in this; Marissa's character is played with depth - kudos to you. |

| Message | Hello, I had watched Requiem for a Dream and was shocked. It was a brilliant movie. I had wrote a screenplay called Drift and Die, I was looking for someone to produce it. As you have wrote and produced different works, do you have any advice as to which way I should try to get my work noticed? I put a lot into my screenplay. I am an IT/software engineer but since childhood i have harbored a hobby to write short stories, poems, and have been involved in paranormal and psychological researches in free time. Till date i have written several short stories, poems articles and my own researches and papers exist. I am a complete movie buffoon and i have a dream of being a script writer. I am currently working on part time project on a film based on my short story and am also doing its music composition/direction. | Message | Hey Darren. Congrats on all your success. i was not sure if it was u, until i saw that red hair.We were boh in Mrs Meiselman's class in P.S. 195 in Sheepshead Bay back in 1979. I actually was in one of your first projects..an Empire Strikes back version for a class project. LOL..I think Alan Lipp was Yoda, Ariel Zoblosky was Chewy, aand I was Lando. lol...I am back in Brooklyn. Went to the Air Force, came back to Brooklyn, became a Court Officer, then went to Medical School. Sounds like a movie...lol.. Anyway, i am very proud and souly satisfied with your works, especially Wrestler and Requiem. Those are 2 movies every man should see to get a perspective on Life and the consequences, blessings, joy and pains we experience as a result of the choices made.
