| Message | I think your movies are really amazing. They are so brilliant and the way they are edited, especially Requiem for a Dream, are out of this world. I want to be a film director/writer as you are and when I heard that you went to Edward R Murrow, which is the school I attend, that there is hope for me to make my dream come to a reality. I have done some short films already with my friend with my digital camera. I love making films and I hope to make it my profession and I was just wondering if you had any tips for the future. Thank you. |

| Message | I saw "The Wrestler" this past week, and I must say that it was one of the most deeply moving and bone-chilling films I've ever had the pleasure of setting my eyes upon. I've seen "Pi", "Requiem..." and "The Fountain" as well (all were brilliant), but this latest film really drives the nails home. God, the perfomances you manage to pull from any actor in your works is breath-taking. Hell, I bet you could get a bum off the street and get him to play a heroic, troubled five star general in a movie about WWII. I've followed your work over the past few years, and you never fail to disappoint me, as a member of the audience. In fact, you never fail to do anything short of incredible for me as a lover of movies and movie-making. I patiently await the next piece of wonderfully crafted art that surely rests within that dementedly talented brain of yours, Mr. Aronofsky. Best wishes and sweetest dreams. Your fan, C. |

| Message | I just finished watching The Fountain and it's amazing. Breathtaking in ever way. I've seen Requiem for a Dream and Pi but The Fountain was deep and thoughtful and one of those movies that you don't stop thinking about. It angers me that this wasn't better received, but that just shows how shallow society is these days. Keep up the good work and keep making wonderful movies like this and maybe one day society will understand. |

| Message | Thank you for The Fountain. After watching it 5 times, I finally went online and found your commentary. It was much appreciated. Congratulations on all the success you are having with The Wrestler. I enjoyed it very much; However, it did seem like The Fountain was a sort of magnum opus, and everything you do now will be compared to it... at least you can count on me to compare everything you do to it. Whatever you do. Just don't Terry Gilliam out on me. Thank you again. |
