| Message | The Fountain was by far the best movie of 2006. For me there's just a few films that are as good: 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Matrix Trilogy, The Seventh Seal, A.I., Contact...it's a real shame our culture is so shallow that The Fountain didn't prove more financially successful. Artistically its indestructible. But there's no doubt that in the next 10 years and beyond it will be hailed as the new 2001: A Space Odyssey (even though it is a vastly different film). Sublime. |

I'm very excited for all of the future projects that you plan on becoming involved with. It's good to know that a director like yourself who has experienced hollywood at it's best and maybe the worst (?) can still shed light to all other aspiring filmmakers to do something out of the box.
