| Message | The fact that you manage to release pieces of work that are soo perfect, and at a budget of 8 digits or less... they're just visually, aurally, and thoughtfully amazing. The fountain has boggled my mind more than any other film that's come out in a loooong time, and made me once again think in an interprettive manner. Don't ever change for anybody else but yourself. Your efforts are well respected, you're an artist and one of the VERY few people that I would like to meet in the film industry that I hold a respect for, sooo blow me away with your next piece. |

| Message | I'm not sure if Darren will ever see this, but just in case, I'm a New Media Arts student at the Australian National University and I am learning how to become a director, I've only done a couple of short films I'm not terribly happy with, but I'm getting better. Your work, especially Pi, is a huge inspiration for me and I was wondering if you have any tips or advice for someone aspiring to direct? |
