| Message | Hi Raphe,
I gather from the blog that your days are full and intense -- we'll be eager to hear about them more when you get home (soon, now!). Lea got off to Colombia; she was a little sick, and rather sad, when she left, but I think she's pulling herself together and getting started. She has a great room on top of a hostel (in the attic, actually -- up a ladder), and it's on a hill and Bogota is in the mountains, so it's apparently a fabulous view. Her big problem at the moment is getting a phone that works. I'm off to Craftsbury in a few minutes to go to sculling camp. I'm taking lots of changes of clothes on the theory that I'll tip over each time I go out in the scull, so I'll want clean and dry clothes for the next attempt. Does that sound right? wish me luck! Dad is meeting me at Robertson's vacation home in Vermont on Sunday; we'll ride bikes and eat Mary Pat's fabulous cooking for 2 days, then come home to my way-overdue paper writing again. Should be fun. Whisper is teaching Snowball how to pee outside the litter box --oysh!! His real name is apparently Prince Whisper, and he is indeed acting like a spoiled prince at the moment. Oh well. Kitchen is coming along, but endless chores to get it into shape. And then there's the rest of the house... off to VErmont. With much love, Mom |
