| Message | Hey Manu, Sounds like you've been sleeping out quit abit. I bet you don't have the rain or mosquitos to deal with. Any creepy crawlys you need to be aware of? The Anselins have moved out. They were gone before we came back. They did have a garage sale before we left and Emily asked me to come over to help price a feew things. Of course we walked away with a few things, but you can imagin my surprise when I found the Am Eagle cap in one of the boxes. It made me want to go through every box they had to find all your other missing things. Oh well. I'm thinking that this weekend would be good to have a garage sale. Mostly I want the van and Volvo out of our lives. Lara is back and was parked in the driveway when I came home from Bobes so I parked in the street. Ofcourse I fell asleep and woke up early witha start remembering it was still in the street. You guessed it Another parking ticket. You'd think we pay enough taxes that they'd let us park in front of our own house. It's Tuesday and before you know it you'll be back home. It's bitter sweet , isn't it? Enjoy the desert and all the new people you've met, some will end up being life long friends.(Not just J) I am getting excited about your return but sad that your trip is coming to a close. | Message | Hi Josh This is probably the last e-mail we'll send because I'm not sure how many more times they'll distribute messages to you, and honestly, with you gone, there is nothing particularly newsworthy to report. We had a relaxing weekend in Cold Spring, while Ilona stayed home and Hannah went to Galil and so the gang. With so many of you on MBI, she said camp seemed really small. She had a great time and was really glad she went. Both girls finish work on Friday, so the three of you can spend some time together before we take H to school next Friday. You're missing a weigh-in that Friday, but I told Chris Paskalides and she said that Matt would tell coach and that there is another one scheduled for after your first practice on Monday the 20th, so it will be a long day, but you're all set. We are really excited about getting you back home and hearing all about your adventures. Enjoy enjoy. Love Mom & Co. |

How was your free weekend? It was a busy weekend for us. Spent extra time at shul because Max had his first lesson on the bema with Beryl. Then, off to Irvine, bath, change and straight to the opening ceremony for Maccabi. Its at the Honda Centre in Anaheim where the Ducks play. I spoke to your host family in Irvine and they will give you a private space so you can catch up on your sleep. Their son is a tennis player. Today was a holiday ( BC Day). I went to Fiona's annual party. It was nice as usual. I did get lots of herbs but unfortunately I left them at your grandmothers. I went out for Carribean food and had get this, Carribean Arctic Char! Go figure. I went to Granville Island with Ariella. All and all a pleasent trip. I know you're having a great time! | Message | Dear Nellie, It is so hard to believe that you will be home in one week!!! We had emails from the Israeli friends and family and it sounded like you had a VERY busy visiting everybody. That is wonderful. I was at Teton National Park with Grace and had a fabulous time hiking and biking. We even got to go to a great concert. Dad kept busy at home and he was invited on a Seafair cruise yesterday, where he watched the Blue Angels and the boat races. Tomorrow, your cousin Neomi will arrive from New York, with Yehuda and their new baby. They will be here for two weeks so you'll be able to see them when you come home. Uncle Abraham will also be visiting from California at that time. We cannot wait to see you and hear all the stories and hopefully we can also see MANY photos. We ahve really been enjoying the blog, but I am sure it will be much better to hear your stories first hand. I love you and miss you so much! Mom |

So, please call home (somehow) and let us know if that is so, we need to know. So, you are off to the Dead Sea, remember when we went there together? We still have the pictures of the mud you guys smeared on my back. I hope you don't have any cuts! I also assume you are going to climb Masada, it is such an amazing place.
