MessageMy uncle Alvin Amb served on the USS Randolph and was wounded seriously on March 11, 1945. I am so pleased to find photos and documentation on this website. It clarified so much for me and gave me a new perspective on the recollections of my uncle.

MessageProudly served from 1962 to 1964. PH3 in VS-26 but was always sent to the ship's photo lab, OP Div, to work. I just found this site and will be sending photos. Worked aboard ship with Melvin Perry, Bob Sharp and all the other photomates. Best Wishes!
