MessageMy Dad, Chief Jasper David Pope, Jr., was aboard the Randolph 1944-45. I have a picture of Dad with crew members who were a ship baseball team (last names w/few lst initials) Chambless; Broome, P.; Edwards; Baker, W.C.; Sherwood; Thompson, T.E.; Renfroe; Hunt, G.I.; Whitmire; Secner. They are all standing in front of a F6 Hellcat fighter plane with bats, balls and & gloves. Any family that would want a copy of this picture, please contact me via my email with your mailing address. I have other ship pictures. I'm not sure if this web site will let me post my pictures

MessageHello All! I just reread my previous posting, and realized that my meaning might not be clear. The Zippo lighter is NOT FOR SALE, I want to give it away to someone who would treasure it...maybe someone who was on the ship during this time period or their family. Thanks! Melody
