| Message | Hi. I WAS A MEMBER OF THE 1957 58 -1958-59 MED CRUISES AND ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT OF MY TIME ON THE SHIP. WE WORKED HARD AND WE PLAYED HARD. I HAD THE HONOR OF BEING ONE OF HONOR GUARDS WHEN WHINSTON CHURCHILL CAME ABOARD ON HIS 83 BITHDAY IN 1958. WE WERE OFF THE COAST OF FRANCE NEAR CANNES. I WAS SURPRISED TO FIND THAT THE PICTURE OF THIS EVENT IS IN THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES IN WASHINGTON.I HOPE MOST OF THE MEN WHO SERVED WITH ME ARE ALIVE AND IN GOOD HEALTH. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. |

| Message | I served on the USS Randolph from 1965 - 1968. I was in the ET group and worked on the SRN9, Loran C and other navigational equipment. Great Ship and Crew - Randoo Can Do - Love to hear from others in the ET group. |

| Message | I served aboard 61 to nov 62.I have always been puzzled why we stopped briefly in Bermuda and at Berzerta on the 62 Med cruise.Any one from aviation supply during that time period know the answer.Hello Simon,Jerry,Eaglhart,Jim,Mickey. |

| Message | SERVED ON RANDOLPH FROM DEC 63 TO 1967 CR DIV. LEFT SHIP AS RM2. HAVE BEEN TO 6 REUNIONS SO FAR. THEY'RE GREAT. NEXT ONE IN ST AUGUSTINE FLA. ALWAYS LOOKING FOR OLD SHIPMATES FROM THE RADIO GANG. SO FAR 7 OF US THAT SERVED IN THE 60'S AS RADIOMAN RATE STAY IN TOUCH. |

| Message | My dad served on the Randolph in the Engine Room in 1945. He never talked about the war, but I know he was in the Engine Room when the ship was hit because after he had a heart attack they over medicated him and he went back to the ship and the death of his best friend in his arms until the hospital could bring him back. He passed in 1997 and I still miss him deeply. If anyone out there knew him e-mail me at [email protected]. |
