| Message | I used to live in Fortune in the 1950's where my father was the fisheries inspector. Walking to Grand Bank and back to Fortune on a Sunday afternoon was a favorite thing for kids ten or twelve years of age to do. If I remember correctly the distance was about four miles. | Message | I was born in Grand Bank in 1958. My mom [Mavis Sturgeon] was a a nurse there, and my dad [Bill] was in the RCMP. I'm looking forward to seing where I was born.
