Just taking the time to thank everyone for all the hard work and time they have put into come home year 2007 and the videos on the web site are excellent. | Message | Dear Friends: Thank you for the tremendous job you have done in planning and preparation for the events which will take place during the "Come Home" year celebrations. Had it not been for the fact that my son is being married around the same time as the celebrations,I would have been there with "bells on" especially for the unveiling of the Seaman's Memorial, a tribute to the men who were lost at sea, of whom my Dad, James Moore, was one. While I will not be there in person, I will be there in heart and spirit, for sure. God bless you. |

| Message | I would like to wish everyone a happy come home year. I would like to have been there but my son is getting married this year on Sept 8. Then he as to go overseas to iraq in March 08. So I have to be here for the wedding you know it cost a fortune. So it was come home or help with the wedding.So I wish everyone the best. I would like to ask all the newfoundlanders to pray for every soilder over there.I would like to see picture of the marine memorial on the site of come home year so I can see the pieace about my dad Fred Broydell. If any of the John Burke Class of 1989 are in Grand Bank on August 5th, 2007. We are having a social at Barter's Lounge starting at 6pm. Please bring a tray of your favorite finger food.
