MessageJust a quick note, I noticed in the 2007 San Diego attendee list you are missing my in-laws. Jack and Barbara Burkhardt from Harrison, AR.

Barbara is in the lady's picture, back row, 2nd from the left. I can only see Jack's ear in the back row of the men's photo - but they were there.

Messagei ENCOUNTERED A YOUNG SAILOR IN HUNTSVILLE AL OVER CHRISTMAS. HE HAD JUST FINISHED SONAR SCHOOL IN SAN DIEGO, ALAS HE HAD NO IDEA WHERE PIER 6 WAS. ALL BOOK LEARNING BUT NO PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE, THE NAVY WE KNEW NO LONGER EXISTS. IRECENTLY READ WHERE A CPO WAS GIVEN A SUMMSRY COURT MARTIAL FOR GRABBING THE SHIRT OF AN SA, I CAN REMBER BEING KICKED IN THE BUTT BY A BM2 WHEN I WAS AN SA. I NEVER THOUGHT TO COMPLAIN, I DESERVIED WHAT I GOT.
