Are you the guy I took fishing with me one time???? Sorry for the memory lapse... but I know I recognize that name! Feel free to email me anytime...

Take care & hope to hear from you.

MessageHello!
My name is Bob Bell, and I was stationed at K.I. from Nov. 1985 to Nov. 1988. I was a SSgt assigned to the 410th Transportation Squadron, and we mainly downloaded and uploaded LOGAIR cargo planes.
I reside in my hometown of Louisville, KY., and I laugh when my friends and co-workers get nervous when they hear a weather report predicting an inch or two of snow. I am fond of telling everyone about the time I lived and worked in the Upper Penninsula, with it's average of 200 inches of snow a year. Louisville recently had on overnight snowfall of about a foot, and I enjoyed recieving a "blast from the past" when I deployed my old "Upper Scooper" I brought with me from K.I. nearly 20 years ago! I still hope to re-visit the area someday and see how much it has changed.
I recieved another blast from the past recently when I went to a local grocery and bought some pasties, just like I used to see for sale on the roadside around K.I.
It was nice talking to you all. Happy Alberta Clippers and aircraft generations! Bob Bell

MessageK.I. Sawyer, what a place to work and have fun. Was stationed here from 1973 - 1975, 410th SAC Sheet Metal Shop. One FB111 crashed after take off, one T106 tip tank droped on landing, luckely it went to the right into the field and not into the KC135 and B52 flight line where I was setting, repairing a speed brake pad on a KC135 Tanker door. Great memories, great friends and great area. I truely miss the times.

MessageSSgt Marsee,

You remember me? 410th SPS from 1988-1992. You were actually my Supervisor when I arrived and was assigned to Charlie Flight. Been living in Florida since I left KI in 1992. I truly miss the beauty of the UP and plan to return in the years to come.

MessageHello museum "Guestbook" viewers! Greetings from the great Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I need your help!
Recently a USAF disabled veteran contacted me from League City, Texas. He was a Security Policeman from 1967 to 1970. I have verified this information with a local veteran's group in the Houston area. Not being a fully medical retired veteran, he has fallen on hard times and is attempting to purchase a vehicle for him and his spouse. If you would like to help this veteran, please contact me via email and I will put you in touch with the local veteran's group handling his fundraising.

Thanks everyone!
