| Message | KIS was my intentional terminal assignment from 1978-1980, with the 87th FIS. Just about the prettiest base in existence, and we loved it! My wife and I visited KIS in September of 2006, and could not believe that 156 Banshee was still there, as well as . The museum was super, as was the rest of the installation. On June 10th, I will be taking our daughters up there for a "nostalgia tour," and there will not be a dry eye, since both attended school just down the road. |
