| Message | Was stationed at KI from Dec 1986 until Sep 1994 as an AGE troop in the 410 FMS/MXS. It's a pity they closed one of the best bases in the AF. We still get a chance to travel thru there every few years and I make sure I show my daughter where she was born (base hospital) and where we lived (181 NTC). Good memories: fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, etc  |

| Message | Hello, everyone, I was staioned at K.I. from 79-87, 410 SPS/K-9, worked various flights and finally ended up as Kennelmaster before I HONORABLY separated in 1987. Been working for the Justice Department for the past 25 years, getting ready to retire from there soon!!! Sure miss the U.P. and the great times we had and the shanaigans!!! I really miss alot of the people so if you run accross this post and remember me, look me up, I'm on face book or email me at [email protected] would be great to hear from you!!! |

| Message | I was stationed at K.I. from 1978-1980. I was assigned to the Hospital, Dental Clinic. I lived in Marquette until December of 1983, when my son was born and we moved to Texas. I loved my years in the UP and will treasure memories of the north country. For a Buffalo gal the weather and scenery was like home!! |

| Message | 62' to 63', Block House,Control Center, SAGE. Gwinn was where we hung out, played fast pitch BB. Great Times with locals, turned 21 years old there. Went back in 2006. Looking for Don Baldwin..Also remember going to Kangaroo court, after a local wedding or ball game. I'm from Michigan, didn't even know U.P. existed..Call sign Juliet Hotel. |

| Message | Nice site to look at again. Great to see Sawyer. I was stationed there in 12969 with the 69th MMS Munitions Squadron. Anyone remember Rosies' Pizzaria? Great people up there and I believe I remember a place called the Clifton Manor. Not sure....been a log time. |
