| Message | At KI between 69 & 73 with most of my time in the civil engineering squadron. Have fond memories of the base and the great people I met while stationed there. Long nights at the O Club helped pass the time away. |

| Message | Douglas pierce.... You commented on the April 1st B52 Crash. My brother passed away on the April 1 crash. I'm trying to find someone that could tell me about it. I was just a kid then. I perfectly understand if you would rather not go back there. If yes, let me know and we can communicate outside of this forum. Thanks either way Tom Morrill |

| Message | I posted a message here back in June. Was assigned to CES from 65 to 67. Spent MANY hours at a bar I thought was in Negaunee. Was red and white on the outside, with two octogon windows. Owners name was very Italian. We called him "Gigs". Gene Furey recently posted a message and referenced a bar called the Roosevelt in Ispeming. Think this was the place I was trying to remember. Can anyone confirm. And did anyone stationed up there ever know a Michele Ogea? Even after reading the sad things about todays KI, I'm still planning a trip up there. |
