MessageWas at KI mar 63 until jun 66.
Was in the Comm-Nav work group, working in radio and
nav equipment on the F101 and T33 aircraft.
Had a great time there, was sorry to go and am sorry they closed the airbase. Great memories there.
Missing all my buddies there..

MessageI was in the Air Force from July 1974 to 1978. I was stationed at Hill AFB, Utah and K.I. Sawyer, Mi. I was in the 410th SPS Squadron at Sawyer. I enjoyed my time there being a Michigan man, a lot of good times and fond memories of that base. Humped the flight lines many a night and finished working in WSA and CSC.

MessageDid anyone know my brother Christopher Morrill? He died in the B52 crash on April 1st, 1977.

Just reflecting. I was a young kid at the time and would love to hear if anyone knew him and can tell me anything about the crash

Messagemy mom was to marry an airmen but he died in a car crash before they could. His daughter is my sister as well. I believe he passed in 1965 late or early 1966. His name was Dave stewart and he was from Illinois. Im looking for any info. My sister has no idea of her father because he passed before her birth. If anybody recognizes the name or story please contact me. thank you.

MessageI came to K. I. Sawyer in april 1974 from Ramstein AB, Germany. From Tactical Air Command and F-4e's to SAC and B-52's. Was a weapons mechanic with the 410 MMS, a crew team leader, for the year I was stationed there. Married my first wife in Marquette, we were together for 20 yrs.
