| Message | There is NO GOD HERE showing me what the Bible says and teaching me what he expects of me or wants, none. All I have is a BOOK and people who believe in the book attesting to the Validity of it through whatever means they may choose at the time. In my experience from the time I was young, Christianity has been a very negative influence in my life. And if there is a God, and he is so perfect, I would assume he would at least send commendable people to spread his word and not just leave it up to chance on who correctly portrays him. Humans are faulty and fallible, so the “Christians” that I’ve been exposed to (the majority, not all), have been less then convincing that I should want to be a part of their religion. At least with Science, it’s here, it testable, it’s ongoing. I can’t go to God and say “hey, why is this happening” because I’m told that’s rude and unjust “God has a plan. So, again, I have to take the word of faulty men that the book they present me with, and a lot of religions have their own book or moral code. |

| Message | Pappy, You said: “I do not dismiss life elsewhere. However, there are some very serious problems with evolution on a microbiological level that they are trying to solve with this "life came from outer space stuff." Seems to me they are the ones who are dismissive. They have a strong antisupernatural bias in the face of some very strong evidence.” Now, THEY, I am assuming, you mean the scientists or people who are so bent on their point of view that they don’t see anyone else’s. I do not think like that. I’m always open to the fact, that I could be dead wrong in a lot of things. I am open to the fact that there may be a God, but at this time in my life I feel evolution is way more probable. There are people that have taken the Bible apart, just as you have with your Mathematical equations, and mocked it, disapproved parts of it or showed complete contradictions from one book to the next. Without researching I can not pull from my head those, but I’m sure you are familiar with all those arguments. Anyone can really argue anything and it all comes down to perspective and life experiences. |

| Message | The photos were so funny!!! Darby reminds me of Kailea when it comes to cameras (Little Camera Hogs). Okay, I have been working my bum off today, but as we took breaks I wrote down my thoughts Pappy. I certainly didn't want you to think I was skating out of your questions. Although, please understand I'd love to skate out of this question. I hate talking about religion. So, bare with me as I post my thoughts |
