| Message | Hmmm, I am voting for Obama because I believe in a lot of what he stands for. Not everything, but a lot. I think McCain is nuts....and that's not to be mean at all. I don't think he is a rational man. Okay, I can't argue religion with you though Pappy because I can't pull and quote from the Bible the way you can. And I have conceded several times that you make valid points. Back to your Pedophillia and animal thing comment. Pedophillia and whatever the animal thing is are medical or psychiatric disorders. I am not defending them. I'm just saying they are and they are psychiatric disorders that are also criminal so you go to jail for them. Gayness is not criminal and it's not a psychiatric disorder, although it was in the Psychiatric manual not to long ago, but as evidence started pouring out, it was removed. |

That type of intelligence excedes me and besides, I think having a spirtual side is a wonderful thing, why would I want to PROVE IT WRONG. It's just something I don't have. |

| Message | I would rather you compare your truth claims with my truth claims. I can not imagine that I have been dismissive. I have only required that the significance of what is being discussed is considered. If I regard it as insignifcant it is up to you to show me that it is significant, if that is what you believe. This started because you are making a concrete decision to vote for someone. If you have no reason for that other than that how you feel because that is the corner life has kicked you into, then the two of us are not going to make any progress towards the truth. If you are content to let your views be guided by your circumstances instead of fighting for the truth, that is your choice. I am going to fight for the truth. I hope you choose to do the same. |

| Message | The pictures was so GOOD that it looked like it was done by a professorial! You're so good.  I plan to take pictures of Sparkle with trees as background, because that is Sparkle's favorite season of the year, and I need to get a picture with her in fall season for her notebook project. Trees around here are still green. Some are slowly turning yellow. I'm waiting for it to turn yellow, red, and orange to take Sparkle's picture. By the way, Fall is my favorite season as well. The debate between Gina and Pappy has been interesting. |

If fact I would consider it a favor if you could help me better understand the truth. A better understanding of the truth seldom comes from pleasant musings, but in the crucible of hot debate. If you want a better understanding of the truth, as I do, wrestle me for it. If you are content with your current ratio of knowledge and ignorance, that is fine with me. I am not happy to be ignorant. I can not learn much from people who agree with me. It always excites me when someone is willing to debate me over things of this kind. I told you that I just pulled it up off the internet for appeasement sake and not that I researched any of them for accuracy. However, I think being dismissive of claims, even if you find them minor is reckless. I think that as I stated before you and I could go back and forth all day, but our opinions will still differ. You are choosing to believe what you do because you've been educated in the Bible, your life experiences have brought you to whatever place you are in, but it is a choice. You seem to be wanting to PROVE something to me and I've not yet stated to you that you are wrong. I would never ever be so narcissitic to think I could ONLY be right in my view. On Petra's board, I've stated opinions and they are just that, opinions on which I feel I've made intelligently, but also based on what I believe or don't. There were 43 generations from David to Jesus. Lk.3:23-31. You just said one was through Nathan and the other through Solomon. Of course they are different. Jacob was Joseph's father. Mt.1:16. Heli was Joseph's father. Lk.3:23. Heli was probably Joseph's father-in-law. They would not have considered it an important distinction. He was to be called Emmanuel. Mt.1:23. He was called Jesus. Mt.1:25. The God with no name has many titles. Emmanual means God with Us and Jesus means Savior. Joseph, Mary, and Jesus flee to Egypt while Herod slaughters all males under 2 years old. Mt.2:13-16. (Note: Jesus' cousin, John, was also under 2 and survived without having to flee.) John did not live in the area where the slaughter took place. Joseph, Mary, and Jesus did not flee to Egypt, but remained for temple rituals. No slaughter of infants is mentioned! Lk.2:21-39. Just because one witness mentions some details another does not, does not mean one or the other is a liar. He was carried to the temple when He was 8 days old. The visit from the wise men and the slaughter was almost two years later. |

I can only offer you my opinion. I know that sounds shabby, but that's it. Unless of course you'd like me to do some thesis on WHY GOD DOESN'T EXIST, but that might take me awhile.
