UltraGuest.com is a free guestbook hosting service, operated from the United States as an independent, privately run project. Each guestbook is looked after by its owner; this page says how to reach us, and how to report something in a guestbook.

Reporting a message or a guestbook

To report a message, use the Report link under the message: the same automated review that checks every post reads it at once, and e-mails you the outcome if you leave an address. To report a whole guestbook, use the Report abuse link at the bottom of its page, which opens our support form. What we remove, and why, is set out in the Acceptable Use Policy.

If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.

Authorities, and notices of illegal content

support@ultraguest.com is our single point of contact for the authorities of the EU member states, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Digital Services Act, Article 11), and for everyone who uses the service (Article 12). It is also the address for a notice of illegal content (Article 16) that the Report link cannot carry. We answer in English and Norwegian.

A notice of illegal content should give:

  • why you believe the content is illegal;
  • where it is: the exact address of the guestbook page and, if you can, which message;
  • your name and e-mail address (not needed when you report child sexual abuse material);
  • a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the notice is accurate and complete.

We confirm that we received it and tell you what we decided. Child sexual abuse material is removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as United States law requires. Law enforcement requests are answered on valid legal process. Copyright notices go to the same address; what they need is in the Acceptable Use Policy.
