| Message | Regina, I saw your movie and was appalled at the injustice of the judicial system, although not surprized. It is a tactic used by many prosecuting attorney's in many states to get people to plead to crimes they did not commit to wipe the books clean and add numbers to their convicition rates. I am proud of you to take a stand against the system despite the risks and the fact that you were a mother of four. Despite being represented by competent counsel I am sure it was very frigtening. I applaud you and continued success to you and your family. |

| Message | I, like many others visiting this site, just recently watched your movie this weekend. I live in Los Angeles where these types of cases happen everyday. Not to say every black man/woman in jail is innocent, BUT NOT EVERY BLACK MAN OR WOMAN IN JAIL IS GUILTY. Typically we don't have the resources to hire high power attorneys to "beat" the charges we are faced with. We are given PD's that are supposed to have our best interest at heart. On a weekly basis out here you see on the news or on the internet celebrities getting hand slaps for crimes they are committing. Not only is it a racist judicial system, it is also based on class. I'm glad you were able to prevail in your case against the system. |

Your courage to fight and stand up for what is right is the only way we in America have a chance to mend our grossly broken justice system. It's people like you and Rosa Parks who all Americans need to show their utmost respect and gratitude for your contributions to our country. Your actions help me to feel proud to be an American and hopefully, because I am white, the stand you took will someday turn our justice system around so I won't be ashamed of being white because of criminals like John Paschall polluting positions of power and authority. I looked up your case and was surprised to know that I am familiar with your town of Hearne as I used to drive through it from time to time taking Hwy 6 to CS. I had no idea this type of drama was unfolding in this town. No one deserves to go through the disgusting manner in which you were treated when you were unlawfully arrested. I send you my regards and my uttermost respect for braving the unknown and fighting the good fight. Hold your head up high, because you are a gem! My heart and prayers go out to you, your girls, and all your loved ones. May God bless you in all that you endeavor. Now, to DA Paschall, you are the absolute SCUM of the earth! You have abused the law and I was not surprised to read more corruption charges on you over the years. What disturbs me most of all- citizens of Robertson county, how could you re-elect such a monster? Please wake up and choose someone of good ethical and moral character into this important role. Why are you letting a racist lunatic dictate to you and your community? Good God, people, this is 2010- not 1950! You don't have to live like this anymore. For the love of God, I can't understand why this sort of backwards thinking is being perpetuated in this day and age. All voting citizens of this area, please pray for guidance and choose to make a CHANGE for the BETTER for your community. |

| Message | Regina I watched the movie for the first time and believe that this sort of issue is present here in the USA. There are many people that are afraid of change and want to continue to live in the past. I commend you for putting your story out in the light for those that are close minded. We as a people need to stand up to people like John Pascall and stop making them intimidate us. We need to vote during elections to make a slight difference. Obama has made a different road(I hope) for many of our youths and I hope they take heed and know that they can one day be President and we do not have to live like slaves. Thank you for sharing your story.  |
