| Message | When I think back to Apollo XI, I remember a very troubling time for our nation. The VietNam war was still going strong and the country was having many difficulties. And then, it the middle of all that madness, sweet Apollo XI rose off the launch pad in Cape Kennedy on its way to the moon, and taking with it, the hopes, dreams and aspirations of the U.S. and hundreds of millions of people around the world. Ironically, money for the war never seemed to run out. And yet, as soon as Apollo XI moved off the page one headlines, NASA and the government began cutting the budget and well, the rest is history. I applaud this historic 40th anniversary and sincerely hope that it re-inspires our nation to retake our rightful place in the leadership role of space exploration. God Bless America and Congratulations NASA and Apollo XI. I am very interested in seeing your new movie, Moon Beat! |

| Message | I was 14 at the time of Apollo 11, and a committed space nut. I watched every minute of TV coverage that I could - mostly CBS and some NBC. I even audio taped some portions (a poor reel-to-reel recorder - the tapes no longer exist). I wish that CBS would put together a comprehensive look back at their coverage, and release it on a DVD. The more than 24 hours of coverage on landing day was very special. It is compiled into a somewhat rare book that documents the coverage. On another note, I'm in the process of donating a collection of magazines that covered the space program from the 60s into the 09s. The collection will be kept at the Wings Over the Rockies library in Denver. I worked for a brief time as a freelance journalist covering space in the late 70s and early 80s. I look forward to seeing this film! |

| Message | Well, I was just 9 in 1969, but I do remember Apollo 11. It was a fun and very exciting time. I was watching the launch with my parents and then with my family again for the moon landing on July 20, 1969. I remember one of the announcers saying that more people were watching the moon landing around the entire world, together, then had ever watched anything before. That really stuck with me about Apollo 11,. What a global event for all mankind. It is hard to believe that it has been 40 years and I am very excited to have witnessed it live back in 1969. Happy Anniversary Apollo 11 and thanks for the memories. And I am looking forward to seeing your new movie, Moon Beat. |

| Message | Greetings all, I loved your Apollo 11 moon landing some forty years ago and remember the wonderful BBC coverage with our man, Reg Turnill. I was pleased to see that he is appearing in your film. What a wonderful newsman! I must say the landing on the moon was an truly historic event and that is evidenced by the fact that mankind has not been back to the moon or anywhere else in the universe i all these years. What a sad commentary that is. I will applaud Apollo 11 on its upcoming anniversary and I salute your NASA program. Good luck and I will look for your movie and our newsman, Reg Turnill. |

| Message | Interesting idea for a movie. I remember Apollo 11 and all the excitement. It was very impressive. The while world watched the landing and moon walk and I am sure all around the world. NASA was the agency that had the reputation of doing things right. I hope they enjoy this 40th anniversary and try and restart the exploration of space. Let's Go to Mars! |

It will always be the most remarkable space accomplishment because it was the first time that mankind left the planet Earth to visit another celestial body. Truly amazing! | Message | As a retired academic and scientist, I am both excited and distressed about the upcoming Apollo 11 anniversary. Certainly, I am proud of this accomplishment as an American, however, out track record these past forty years since Apollo 11 is abysmal. WE had achieved tremendous strides and then just let it fritter away. Where are the manned missions to Mars and beyond? I must say, if anything, I hope this 40th anniversary will wake the nation and NASA up to the fact that we are falling behind and need to do a better job at prioritizing our financial commitments to space exploration. I look forward to your film and hope that it will offer more than flag-waving and happy platitudes. It's time to get serious about space again. |

| Message | I have seen every Apollo 11 movie and am very intrigued with your new movie. I like the fact that it is a different look at the story of Apollo 11. All the other movies about Apollo 11 focus on the astronauts and the engineers. After reading your website, it sounds like Moon Beat will focus on the media or the news reporters who covered the NASA and the space program. They must have lots of interesting stories and memories. I like your angle for this film and can't wait to see it. Waiting to give my thumbs up and five stars for Moon Beat! |
