| Message | The flight of Apollo 11 was spectacular. Really, the launch for me was spectacular. I and my fiance lived in Florida during those years and we were just so excited about the mission and the astronauts. We read the FLorida Today newspaper and watched the tv for news but we were big supporters of the space program and still are. I miss the excitement of those years and for NASA especially. The whole world watched Apollo 11 and what an achievement. We were all speechless when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon. |

| Message | I remember the giant rocket launching and seeing it on tv and our wonderful newsman, Reg Turnill. I also remember the landing on the moon and seeing the astronauts bopping around the lunar surface. It was quite a sight and is still quite amazing. | Message | Wow...do I remember Apollo 11? July 16 is my birthday, so what a great present. I watched the launch on television and then the coverage for hours. It was really amazing. My only regret was the technology we have today wasn't available. I wished I had a camcorder to record some of those great memories. I can't wait to see your film! |

| Message | I am a retired school teacher now and at that time, I was still teaching. I had the summer off and went to Cape Kennedy (called that then) with my husband and we drove from South Carolina all the way to Florida. The traffic was bumper to bumper the closer wee got. But we are still to this day so glad we made the trip. It seemed like a everybody i the whole world was there or watching on television. And the launch was spectacular! I had never seen a space launch until Apollo 11 and it was just amazing and very loud! |

| Message | Hi, what an amazing time that was back in 1969, compared to today. It was so exciting to be doing something as a nation that the whole world was proud of! I can't think of anything today that comes even remotely close. Your film idea sounds like it will be a big hit and I hope it will be released soon. Also, I hope it gets people excited about space exploration again. WE have to get going again as a country or the world will pass us by. Happy 40th and look forward to seeing Moon Beat. |

| Message | I remember it well. My husband and I took our fours kids to my mother's and had an Apollo 11 launch party. The kids loved it! I also remember when the astronauts came back to Earth. We had a parade and the whole town was so excited about going to the moon. Those were good days and I am so glad my kids got to see it when they were growing up. |

| Message | what a fabulous year that was 1969! Cool idea. I saw the landing when Neil Armstrong came down the ladder and said: That's One Small Step For a Man. It was exciting and I remember it was on every station. Everybody, even my cousins in England watched it! |

| Message | Hello, I am an old-school space junkie. Used to live in Florida and watched many a launch with friends. At the time of Apollo 11, I remember watching the launch on television and Walter Cronkite. He was always my favorite, the rest were ok, but Walter Cronkite always seemed like he was just as excited as the rest of us. I remember the days before Apollo 11 the most. The whole country was just nuts with Apollo fever. It was the only thing people talked about. It was on television, radio and of course the newspapers. I remember reading the Florida Today, they really were great with space news. It was a great time and I miss those days. It will be fun seeing this movie. I hope the networks will show it or I can buy it first. Go Apollo 11.  |

| Message | What a wonderful time in my life. I was 10 at the time and was absolutely Apollo-crazy. I followed every story and every little piece of news. I guess I was an astronaut-wannabe, but am now trying to explain to my two kids what it was like during the years of Apollo and especially for Apollo 11. I am really excited about the news of a new Apollo 11 movie. I have them all. I like the Apollo 13 movie the best with Tom Hanks but I followed the flight of Apollo 11 and Neil Armstrong's first steps from beginning to end, I guess Apollo 11 was my most favorite of the Apollo missions. I can't believe it's been 40 years. |
