| Message | I remember watching the moon landing and Neil Armstrong walking on the moon! It was pretty amazing. I can't believe it has been 40 years. The space program has always been a hobby of mine and I watch for new developments with the Shuttle and the ISS all the time. I am happy for Apollo 11 and the astronauts who walked on the moon. The missions were inspiring and I am a big fan of NASA. |

| Message | I was a teenager during Apollo 11 and was so amazed at the fact that everyone around the world was so engrossed with going to the moon. It was very impressive and I can remember walking on the street where I lived and hearing everyone's television turned on for the coverage. In my house, it was usually Walter Cronkite who my parents loved and was usually very professional and knowledgeable. I also remember the excitement in the week or two before the actual launch. I miss those days and am very happy for NASA and those three astronauts and their families. They must be very happy about the 40th anniversary. I am very interested in seeing your movie to listen to the reporters with their memories. |

| Message | I am a big fan of the space program and have been for many years, ever since the Apollo moon landings. I remember Neil Armstrong's famous first words on the moon and the black and white tv images we saw back in 1969. I cannot believe that it has been 40 years. And it is hard to believe that we have not been back to the moon or anywhere really since those NASA glory years. I hope NASA gets inspired by this anniversary and starts a whole new chapter of space exploration. I am looking forward to your new Apollo 11 movie! |

I can still remember my birthday cake because it actually had a rocket on it and it said Happy Birthday Emma, 'Reach for the Stars' Thanks Mom and Dad and Thank you NASA! Go Apollo 11. I can't wait to see your movie. |

| Message | I was only in grade school when Apollo 11 went to the moon and it was very exciting. I remember how ubiquitous it was. I mean, it was on television, the radio and especially the newspapers. It was like Apollo 11 was the only story that the whole world was interested in. I remember my teacher telling us to pat attention because it was history in the making and that some of us might grow up to be astronauts and live on the Moon and even other planets. Well, I still would love to go into outer space. Not sure about living there, but I sure would like to visit or take a mini-vacation or getaway! So, count me in. I will definitely be celebrating on July 20 the accomplishments of NASA and Apollo 11. I will look for your movie too! |

But I am very interested in space exploration and hope that this puts more attention to the vast opportunities for discovery and new ideas that await us in outer space. NASA is still king in my boom and I hope they keep up their space adventures. I will watch for your movie about Apollo 11 and the first moon landing. It is still so cool even after all these years! |

| Message | What a lovely idea to publish the public's memories. I think this is a wonderful idea. I have warm memories of Apollo 11, because my husband actually proposed to me on July 20, 1969. He said our love was for the ages, so why not propose on the same that Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. It was a very serious but exciting time for our country and the world. Apollo 11 was a magnificent thing for our nation and I think we must always celebrate that achievement, so I will look forward to seeing your movie. And by the way, my husband and I will celebrate our 40th anniversary this October. So cheers to NASA, Apollo 11 and us! |
