| Message | Apollo 11 was a great accomplishment and I remember President Kennedy with his speech making the goal. It seemed like science fiction to me and many others. But NASA made a believer of me and the whole world. Now I can tell my grandchildren that I saw Apollo 11 liftoff and the moon landing a few days later. I was thrilled then, and I am proud today. I can't wait to see your movie and hope it comes out soon. |

| Message | My fondest memory of the Apollo 11 was the parades when the astronauts came home. I lived in New York then and NY had the biggest ticker tape parade you can imagine. The crowds and the noise and the ticker tape was spectacular. It was quite a sight and I will always remember the outpouring of emotion and goodwill after the moon landing. What a time! It is hard ti believe that it has been 40 years. |

| Message | I am retired now but I remember when I was working, I took my wife and two kids to Cape Canaveral to see the launch. Her sister lived in Florida and we stayed there. But I remember the week and days before the launch. I don't think there has ever been anything quite like it in terms of how people everywhere were just locked into this moon flight. I remember it well. And I also remember the traffic jams all leading to the Cape for the flight. The few hotels were booked and restaurants were too. It was like New Year's Eve in July but in Florida  Go NASA and Congratulations Apollo 11. I will look for your movie. |

| Message | I was 9 years old at the time at the time of the Apollo 11 and it was during the summer and I was off from school. I remember all the televisions in our neighborhood were tuned into watch the coverage. The whole neighborhood watched and it was very exciting. I miss those days and wish NASA all the best and Congratulations and thanks for the great memories! |

And then, I feel sadness because mankind has not kept pace with the accomplishments of NASA's Apollo program. I hope this anniversary inspires new space travels and journeys. |

| Message | I met my husband in the U.S. when I was there as a student in the late 60s. I remember we watched the Apollo 11 launch and the moon landing on the television. It was overwhelming! | Message | This is quite funny. I missed the flight of Apollo 11, sort of I was born on July 16, 1969 and so me and Apollo 11 are both turning 40 this year! Imagine that. As I grew up, I certainly followed NASA and the space missions, but I will always be the #1 fan of Apollo 11. Happy Anniversary Apollo 11 and Happy Birthday to me  |
