MessageI am an avid reader of science and space-related stories and have been a passionate fan of the manned spaced program for years. However, I do feel that the unmanned program offers much more potential in the short run for society and mankind.

That being said, I am equally passionate about manned space flight and the exploration of our universe. So the current state of NASA saddens me and I believe many others as well.

Having been alive to remember and experience the joy, excitement and amazement that Apollo 11 gave to the nation and the world, I am thrilled at the thought of seeing Moon Beat and the journalists listed on the film's website.

This movie sounds like a real thinking-person's movie - for a change - and I for one am awaiting release date information and also where to buy the Moon Beat DVD.

MessageI find the topic of Apollo 11 to be very interesting. It is one of the great accomplishments of mankind and yet I wonder what we have learned from this once in a lifetime event. I want to see Moon Beat because I am curious what the reporters listed on the website saw behind the scenes and what their thoughts are 40 years later. Please post Moon Beat DVD purchase information on the Moon Beat website and also screening information. smilie

MessageI am an avid supporter of NASA and the exploration of space. I am also a member of a very dynamic and enthusiastic women's book club. This summer, we read several of the books that were out celebrating the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11. We read and reviewed them and enjoyed our discussions, which became quite spirited. Several members were dismayed that the space program had been ignored for so long that it might jeopardize our leadership in space. Overall, however, we are very committed to NASA and its future missions.

I will certainly bring your movie up at our next meeting, scheduled for early October. The members will be very excited to learn about Moon Beat. I also see on your Moon Beat website that your film is available for screenings, I will contact your office through the link on the Moon Beat website.

Thank you for your time and Moon Beat sounds like a wonderful and fascinating historical documentary.

MessageI remember Apollo 11 very well. I was a teenager but I can remember it like it was yesterday. I think the thing I remember the most was the overwhelming feeling of excitement, unity and national pride. It brought the whole country together and even the world to some degree. And people everywhere were really into the whole space program then, unlike today unfortunately.

I am so happy that you are making a new film about Apollo 11 and am very excited to buy the Moon Beat DVD when it goes on sale!
