MessageThanks for the stroll down memory lane.

I read about the screening in San Diego but was traveling and unfortunately missed it. But I ordered your DVD and I watched it today. My first reaction is - congratulations and thank you!

I have always felt the films about the space program was very Hollywood-ized or prettied up. Those films are well done but just a little to glitzy in my opinion.

Moon Beat, (like the name too) is refreshing thanks to the old school newspaper reporters you rounded up who just told it like it was - no shine or (you know what).

I really liked hearing the journalists talking about the early days and the difficulties they had in reporting their stories. And the personal stories about their parties while the launches were on hold - very entertaining.

Thanks for a great film about the real-days and nights during the space race years.

MessageHi Mr. Moon Beat:

I met you at the San Diego screening of your cool movie. The movie was great! I really enjoyed it and learned alot from those reporters. They were very interesting.

I am sorry I didn't have time to speak with you after the screening, but thank you for bringing Moon Beat to San Diego and our space community. I have gone ahead and purchased two DVDs from your website - one for my father and my husband. I know they will enjoy seeing your film.

Thanks,
Wendy

MessageDear Moon Beat,

Thank you!

I ordered and have received the Moon Beat DVD yesterday and can't wait to give it to my father this weekend for Father's Day.

I have been looking for an interesting Father's Day present for my dad this year and you saved the day. My father is a HUGE fan of NASA and the space program and was an engineer for many years. He loves everything about the space program, especially Apollo 11.

Your film will be a wonderful addition to his collection and I am sure he will enjoy it.

Thank you and Good Luck!

MessageDear Moon Beat,

Way to go!

A friend of mine sent me a link to your site and it is cool. I like the design and the site really sends out a space vibe. Good pix.

And I watched the cspan show with the Moon Beat director/guy and he was good too (and handsome smilie Think some of the callers were watching another show because the questions were silly and mostly unrelated to Moon Beat.

But the idea sounds intriguing and different, so, I will be buying the DVD and can't wait to see it. Good luck.

P.S. You're cute Moon Beat guy smilie

MessageHello,

I found this website on the internet and am really fascinated with the film's approach to Apollo 11. All those years I watched and read about the space ;program, it never occurred to me that it would be interesting to listen to reporters talk about their thoughts and memories.

Kudos to the film producer for such a clever idea!

I am going to buy this DVD today and can't wait to see Moon Beat and will definitely tell all my friends.

Thanks.

MessageI was very lucky to have caught the screening of Moon Beat in Boulder, Colorado recently. I was there on business and happened to see the listing or announcement in the local paper.

The idea for the film, Moon Beat, really is quite interesting. I eas fascinated with the premise and the approach to retelling this important America story of daring, bravery and adventure.

Well, having seen Moon Beat, all I can say to the filmmaker is Thank You!

I really enjoyed seeing your film and it brought back alot of fond memories but it also reminded me of how much I had forgotten.
But I especially liked seeing the reporters, the then and now shots were heart-warming and I wish them all well.

For anyone interested in Apollo 11 or NASA, treat yourself to Moon Beat. It is an interesting documentary and you will like it.

MessageI purchased the Moon Beat DVD and it is fabulous!
The movie covers alot of space history and does it quite well.

I learned alot and it surprised me how much I had forgotten. There were so many imortant events along the way and connected with Apollo 11, like the Apollo 1 fire and the amazing flight of Apollo 8.

And those reporters were great and told some very good stories.
If you like NASA and have fond memories of the 1960s space race, then this movie is a must-see. Nice job Moon Beat!

I give Moon Beat 4 out 5 stars.
