| Message | I saw the Moon Beat show in New York and it was wonderful! Wow! The film not only covers the flight of Apollo 11, but chronicles the beginning of the U.S. space program and Project Mercury, through the Gemini program and continues through the Apollo project up to Apollo 11. And it does it using the reporters who covered the space program as the storytellers, if you will. Rich in archival footage and up close anecdotes, Moon Beat is a great lookback to the glory days of Apollo 11. Great job and I am looking to buy the Moon Beat DVD! MP Happy New Year!  |

| Message | I caught the Moon Beat screening at The National Archives in DC recently and have one word - AMAZING! What an interesting documentary. Quite frankly, I was expecting to see a rather dull, repetition of known facts, events and headlines, sort of the PBS-style of docs we all know and love (no offense PBS), and was pleasantly surprised with the rich cache of archival footage interwoven with observations, memories and stories from the NASA pros and especially the news reporters. It was really fascinating to hear these journalists share their thoughts, especially about the space program - then and now. I thoroughly enjoyed Moon Beat and will certainly be buying the DVD as soon as it goes on sale, which I hope is soon and in time for Christmas. Congrats Moon Beat!  |

| Message | I am a space enthusiast and believe in the exploration of space. So, it saddens me to see the current state of our NASA program searching for a purpose and always begging for money. It should be one of our nation's top priorities, rather than an afterthought. I learned of the Moon Beat movie through a blog and coincidentally, will be in Washington DC this week and will attend the screening of Moon Beat at The National Archives on Thursday. | Message | I have seen many films about NASA and the space program's go-go years and this film sounds like a unique departure from the many films which focus mainly on the astronauts. It makes perfect sense to speak with the news reporters for their memories, so I hope that Moon Beat will soon be on Netflix or Amazon for DVD purchase. Good idea for a documentary! MR, Esq. |
