| Message | Hi, I like others are very interested in visiting the castle. I was just wondering if you have organized a volunteer group such as, "Friends of Dundas Castle" to help clean up and raise money for the restoration of the building. It seems to me a shame that such a building, which is in the Historical register, is not being stablized and restored. I work at Olana Historical Site and see what can be done if people are interested in this project. I for one would like to volunteer although I am a good distance from there to me it's worth the time and gas. I am in Catskill NY. The owner would only gain from the project. Email me anytime. |

| Message | Interesting story! Amazing how much money was spent to build this castle, and it now sets empty and in such a bad state of repair. How sad! |
